After nearly seven years as Acupuncture & Wellness of Wisconsin, founder Laura E. Cox has announced that she is changing the practice name to AcuWell Integrative Health. The new name reflects the fullness of health and wellness offerings that utilize modern approaches and ancient wisdom in unwinding disease and dysfunction to restore wellness and maintain it.
AcuWell Integrative Health provides integrative care beyond the borders of Wisconsin with many treatment modalities beyond acupuncture. Unfortunately, our modern “go-go-go” lifestyle creates a disconnect between our health and our physical experience.
“We forget how to listen to, understand, and interpret the language of our bodies.”
In unison with the name change, Cox is also unveiling the Un-Stucking Circle, a 30-day cohort with a limit of ten people who are all sharing the struggle of feeling stuck in something that matters to them and each is committed to taking that critical first step into the unknown. The Un-Stucking Circle is a safe and confidential space to take on an area of life where you are feeling stuck or stopped. Participants will discover how being stuck impacts the Five Pillars of Well-being – (Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, and Financial) and they will explore the edges of their Comfort Zone, lean into their Growth Zone, and identify their Shut-Down Zone. They will begin to identify their Red Flag Ideas, Feelings, and Actions that keep them firmly stuck in one place.
“We forget how to listen to, understand, and interpret the language of our bodies. To integrate means to unify that which is separate. Our job is to reunify the pieces of ourselves that become fragmented in the mad rush of modern living and help you relearn the language of your body. At AcuWell Integrative Health, we utilize modern approaches and ancient wisdom in the process of unwinding disease and dysfunction to restore wellness and maintain it,” shared founder Laura E. Cox, a practitioner of natural functional medicine and traditional Chinese medicine.
Cox provides treatments using an integrative medical approach that incorporates acupuncture, dietary and nutritional therapies, hypnosis and HypnoSomatic Acupuncture, supplement management, wellness and lifestyle coaching, and more. She received her master’s in Oriental Medicine and bachelor’s in Nutrition at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. Laura is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, Texas, and is scheduled to graduate in December of 2022.
